Corporate Alliances Specialist at UNICEF, Vietnam
Nazia Ijaz is the Corporate Alliances Specialist at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam. She is responsible for UNICEF’s work on promoting children’s rights in the context of business operations – with a focus on the Footwear & Apparel, ICT and Travel and Tourism sector. She holds a Masters’ degree in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Asian Institute of Technology.
Prior to joining UNICEF Vietnam, Nazia was based in Bangkok where she managed UNICEF’s engagement with the private sector and other stakeholders such as the CSR institutes and the Stock Exchange of Thailand to promote the Children’s Rights and Business Principles (CRBP) among the listed companies. She has worked with different UN agencies in Thailand such as UNESCAP and UN Women. Nazia will be one of the panellists in the Smart and Sustainable Cities session.
